Subsidies for the purchase of an electric vehicle :
Through the Roulez Vert program the Quebec government currently offers a rebate of up to $7,000 on the purchase or lease of a new electric vehicle. The discount is offered to individuals, businesses, organizations and municipalities. It also offers asubsidy of $3,500 for the purchase of a used EV.
TheGovernment of Canada is offering a $5,000 incentive for the purchase or lease of a battery electric vehicle, plug-in hybrid electric vehicle or hydrogen fuel cell vehicle.
Subsidies for the purchase of an electric vehicle :
The Government of Quebec offers financial assistance of $600 for the purchase of a level 2 residential charging station and its installation by a certified electrician. Proof of installation is now required to obtain this financial assistance. If you already have a 240-volt outlet outside your home or in your garage, you can provide one or more photos as proof of installation. Make sure that we can see the installed terminal as well as an overview of your home and your door number.
